Little Sister was founded in 1998 and was originally known as "The Fifth Element." The founder and lead singer is Monique Pulido Godines. Little Sister has played with artists such as Fastball, The Outfield and Flaco Jimenez. In addition, Little Sister has also played at a number of night clubs including: Hal's, Las Cananas, Señor Frogs, Barrileros, Downtown Alley, Guapo's and The Roundup, just to name a few. Little Sister entertains the public at civic functions. They've been seen at street parties hosted by the W.B.C.A. and at events for the Laredo Center for the Arts and the Streets of Laredo Association. They have also been featured at the Jalapeño Festival, the Taste of Laredo and the March of Dimes Walkathon.
